TIMING

The 8K portion of the event will be timed and scored by ChampionChip Electronic Timing System. In order to receive your finish time and place results, you will need to wear a transponder encased in the “chip” which must be laced in your shoe. Without the chip you will not be listed by your time or place.

8K race entrants will receive the chip on race morning near the start area. Please arrive by 7:30 a.m. to get your chip and attach it to your shoe. Once you have completed the race, you must turn in the chip to event volunteers near the finish line.

A $30 fee will be charged to each race entrant who does not return a chip.
